Soul Bali Travel Tips and Hidden Gems
Why did you chose Bali for your last destination?
Since young, I’ve dreamed of the hypnotic Balinese culture: the turquoise waves of the Indigo, the floral mysticism of the Hindu-Buddhist religion, and its distintive art and architecture. In Bali, everything amplifies; this is why it’s called the Island of the Gods.
What are the spots you cant missed in Bali?
I´ve only explored one part of the island. From what I’ve visited, Canggu is very active in nightlife and gastronomy. Shelter is my favorite restaurant, and if you want to learn how to surf, I recommend Indian Summer Bali
Ubud is perfect for yoga and ceremonies. My favorite places are Alchemy and Bambu Indah, and the Green School is a must.
Most of the time, I stay in the Bukit. I recommend Lakra if you stay in Bingin. Suarga is perfect for sunset drinks and watching the surf at Padang Padang. Breakfast or dinner at Uluwatu Villas is a great choice.
Each night has a favorite spot. However, my delight is listening to the rehearsals of Balinese orchestras in the temples near the Uluwatu Temple. Beware of the monkeys!

What do you find most appealing about Balinese culture?
I feel amazed by the traditional Balinese music, the daily offerings to their gods and goddesses, the good vibe and purity of their people, and the perfume of incense in the Indonesian heat.
What is the perfect hat for visiting and exploring Bali?
For a Greenpacha hat, my choice is always a packable hat because it’s ideal if you are riding a bike—you can easily pack it in your bag. If you go to a good hotel with a pool, perhaps a hat like the Ipanema , Rio or Honu, to cover your skin stylishly from the equatorial sun.
